Johnnie and Emma have added eleven ensuite bedrooms so that customers can relax and stay longer to enjoy the environment of one of West Sussex’s most attractive villages within South Downs National Park and on the South Down’s Way.

The double or twin-bedded rooms have an individual design with exceedingly comfortable Hypnos beds, quirky furniture sourced from our local auction house and luxury bathrooms. All rooms offer free wifi, a flatscreen TV, complimentary South Down’s Water, tea and coffee making facilities and use of a hot drinks larder complete with Nesspresso machine.

 

The rooms range from 120 to 160 per room per night inclusive of VAT. The rates are quoted on a room only basis so exclusive of any meals. We do offer special prices at quieter times or if we have last minute availability.

We have dog friendly bedrooms available at a small supplement of 15.00 to cover the additional cleaning. This is added when making your reservation as a supplement. A maximum of two dogs are permitted per room.

Breakfast is served from 9am to 10.30am in The Garden Room with it's beautiful view over the South Downs. We have a wonderful kitchen team who work hard and often late into the night so we are unable to offer an earlier breakfast time than published. Breakfast reservations can be made on check in. Our breakfast menu can be seen with all our menus.

Please note we have 11 bedrooms and a small housekeeping team therefore we are unable to offer any early check-ins. Our check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 11am. If you would like to access before 3pm you are advised to book the room from the night before arrival. If you are unable to do this we also have a spacious toilet that can be used if you are wanting to change and freshen up.
